Offense Wins Games

You've heard the saying, right? Offense wins games, defense wins championships! Well, I agree. But in tball everybody wins (because they don't keep score)!!!! T-ball is officially over. Caelleb loved it & we loved watching him. He was pretty comical out on the field even when he wasn't paying attention. So, again, thanks to Aunt Kara, I have a million pictures. . . So, here it goes. . .

Do we have a Craig Counsell on our hands?

Bryndyn and I were impressed with how well Caelleb ran the bases. He wasn't the fastest kid out there but he knew exactly where to go and when to run. It was so cute watching him. He was a little obsessed with his helmet & I think his favorite thing was to stop at a base and give his coach a high five! :)

Toward the end of the season he started doing this thing where every time he ran home he had to pick up the tee and actually touch home plate. He would then put the tee back in its place, give his coach a high five and walk to the dugout. He's such a funny kid!!!!

I think next year we may need to get him his own helmet with a chin strap to keep it on. Maybe then he won't worry so much about it. Still, it made for some cute pictures! :)

Memorial Day Picnic

OK, so I know I have some very important current information to report about. . . BUT I wanted to try and get this blog a little caught up with the bazillion pictures I have. . . So, I will write all about our eventful week in TX and our July 2nd transition day, eventually. But first, let me do a little catching up. The following are pictures from our Memorial Day picnic at Stephens Lake park. . .

Caelleb and Tia were being pretty typical Caelleb & Tia. . . All I wanted was one cute picture of them eating their picnic lunch. But in classic Caelleb & Tia fashion they of course would not cooperate. But now, when I look at these pictures they make me laugh. So, here they are enjoying their picnic dinner. . .

Jamie, as always, was his smiley self while enjoying his carrots. . .After dinner was PLAY time and they played hard!!!
re-hydrating. . Tia named this squirrel "bobo." Bobo tried and tried to eat our picnic dinner. He especially seemed to want the bbq pringles! :)Jamie was perfectly content to chill on the blanket and enjoy being out doors.
This is his serious face
This is his silly face that he just learned how to do. He makes this sound like he is constipated. It is hilarious. I am pretty sure he just does it to get our attention and make us laugh.
The next 3 pictures are of him rolling overDaddy & Jamie hanging out on the swingTia was a little nervous at first, about the swings. But as you scroll down you will see that she ended up loving it. . .
I love these next pictures. Sometimes Tia can just seem like such an old little soul for someone age two. She can be very serious and apprehensive at times, especially when she is nervous or unsure. But in this particular moment she let her guard down and truly enjoyed herself. Such joy. . .

Strong Foundation

This is Caelleb with his preschool teacher, Miss Michelle, on his last day of Pre-K at Stephens Childrens School. We were so blessed for Caelleb to be able to attend Stephens for 2 and a half years. We had a wonderful experience with this school and all his teachers were GREAT! Thanks Miss Michelle & all of the staff at Stephens for helping to prepare Caelleb for kindergarten. He learned more than his colors and letters. He learned to love going to school. Thank you for giving him such a strong foundation for a lifetime of learning!!!!

You All Mine

Last night (I wrote this a few weeks ago, so actually early June sometime) Caelleb was being extra sweet with me. He's always sweet, but he took it up a level last night. He was sitting on my lap (we were watching the NCAA softball championship game) and he just kept wrapping his arms around my neck, giving me kisses on my cheek and saying: "You ALL mine mommy. You all mine." It was the cutest thing. The next morning we were in the van and he said, "mommy, you still all mine?" :) I assured him that I was. I love my sweet boy!!!

Blog Party, Anyone?

Watch out. We've got wireless high speed at our house now. So, I have no excuses. Good thing because I seriously have so much to get this blog caught up on that I am a feeling a little stressed about it. Who needs a coffee shop anymore. We are connected right here at the crutcher abode. Anyone up for a blogging party? :)
