Apple Orchards & Rock Jars

It really is the simple things in life. First, the apple orchard was a HUGE hit. . .

Then later that same day Caelleb had gone w/Bryndyn to watch a softball game. Well, let me back up and start by saying that Caelleb has a fascination with rocks. . . So anyway, they get home from the game and we are getting ready to go see a movie and Caelleb has a rock in his hand.
I keep mentioning to him that we need to get him something to put all his rocks in. So, I found a jar in the cupboard and told him he could put his rock inside the jar. He was SOOO excited! He says, "all of them?" I tell him that yes, he can put all his rocks in there from now on.

Next thing I know, he is emptying out his pockets. . . . Oh my gosh, they were FULL of rocks--BIG rocks--I'm not sure HOW they all fit in those pockets & how his pants weren't falling down w/all those rocks in there. He filled up over half of a big jar & his eyes were just filled with pure joy. It was hilarious! Anyways, so apple orchards & rock jars. . . who'da thunk it? :)

I can't believe how big the kids are getting! Great pictures ... I especially liked your 'do at the childrens museum.

Hi Taina! Amy sent me a link to your blog. The kids are so cute! How old are they? It looks like you guys have been pretty busy over the past couple of months. I remember going to pick apples at the orchards on Missouri and going to the Magic House when I was little. Fun memories!

I wanted to let you know that you and your family is in my prayers. Although I only know little tidbits of what is going on with you from Amy, I just wanted you to know that we are thinking and praying for you!
