Sittin' Up at 7 Months

Jamie's biggest accomplishment at 7 months is that he learned to sit up. It seemed to happen overnight. One day it seemed he would never get it, the next day, he got it. Crazy how that happens. He's now an 'ol pro at rolling over, grabbing things, the exersaucer, solid foods & juice from a sippie cup. They really do grow up too fast. . .

Wake Up Sleepy Head

Bryndyn was trying to get Caelleb up on this particular morning. As you can see from the pictures Caelleb was struggling to even keep his eyes open. So, Bryn stuck Jamie into bed with him to "help" keep him awake and the result. . . some true brother bonding & some really cute pics. . .

CA Boy at Heart

Caelleb had a great weekend with Mama & Papa T. Our last day in town we were able to spend some time at the beach before we headed to the airport. It was an overcast day and even kind of chilly. But this didn't detour Caelleb from some ocean fun.

He is such a joyful chid & truly lives life to the fullest. . .

Santa Monica

The first weekend in June Caelleb & I headed out to So Cal. I met up with some college girlfriends and Caelleb got some good spoiling from the grandparents. It was a great weekend of sun, sand, reminiscing & quality girl time! Hard to believe it has been, count them, 10 YEARS since I graduated from college. We decided in honor of our 10 yr. anniversary we would meet up where it all began. . . Malibu. Well, actually Santa Monica is where we met up, but close enough.

We spent a day in Malibu visiting Pepperdine and our favorite college hang out, Coffee Bean.

Is there any such thing as too much ice blended mocha? Definitely not! Here we are at Coffee Bean in Santa Monica. . . :)

This is an annual trip & as always it was so great to catch up with everyone. It seems like the older you get the harder it is to develop and maintain close girlfriends. At least that is my experience. I hate that it is that way, but it makes me even more grateful for this group of girls! Their friendships are irreplaceable & I am truly blessed to have them in my life. I'll write more on this topic & this group in the future. . .

Defense Wins Championships

Caelleb was a riot on defense. You would think he wasn't paying attention but then if a ball was hit his way he would field it very naturally and then go back to playing with the grass or putting dirt in his hat and then dumping it on his head. Not a care in the world when he was on the ballfield! I am sad that the season ended so quickly & looking forward to next year when he and Vanessa will play together (hopefully).

It only took one season for Bryndyn to realize he is not meant to watch Caelleb from the sidelines. He will be coaching next year--if you know my husband, you know this is as it should be!!!!! It definitely seems that Bryndyn's love for America's favorite pasttime has been passed down to Caelleb. Even when Caelleb's game was over he would want to watch another game being played. He just loved being at the ballpark. That makes 3 of us. Actually 5 of us. It was a family affair!

It almost looks like he is turning around telling someone how many outs there are. Nope. No one behind him. Just checking out his surroundings, or something! :)
