Officially on a Break

When you are going through infertility treatments, your calendar is less about the months of the year and more about the cycles. Today is CD3 (cycle day three) for me, which means that I should be going into the clinic for a resting scan (ultra sound). But I'm not. We've been talking about taking a break. Well, we decided to, in fact, take a break through the holidays. But still, it hasn't felt official until today. I just spoke to the nurse at the clinic to let her know. I'm feeling a mix of sad & relieved. I know we need a break. But it was still difficult to make that phone call. So, I'm hoping to enjoy NOVEMBER & DECEMBER, maybe even JANUARY. Most likely, by February, it will be all about the "cycle" again. Fun times.
