Table for 3

Happy Thanksgiving! Ours was wonderfully peaceful & relaxing. We've never done a Thanksgiving feast with just us, so this was a first. While I truly missed being with extended family, honestly, I was surprisingly content. Everyone asks, "what did you do for thanksgiving?" At first, I sort of felt like I had to defend the fact that it was going to be just us celebrating at home. But, in hindsight, there were just three of us, and that was ENOUGH. Contentment. It's a beautiful thing. I love & am so thankful for my little family!

Our menu consisted of ham (which I bought pre-cooked & prepared at hyvee), green bean casserole, corn casserole, mashed & sweet potatoes, sweet tea & of course, chocolate cream pie (Bryn's favorite).

A much needed low-key & zero stress holiday. I am so blessed!

I'm glad you had a relaxing Thanksgiving! Whenever I think of ham, I think of Bryndyn.

"Ham is so good,
Ham is so good,
Ham is so good,
it's so good to me."
